Mahindra Two Wheelers on Wednesday said it has received over 10,000 bookings for its Centuro motorcycle within three weeks of the launch.
Mahindra Centuro, a 110 cc bike with indigenously developed MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 curve) engine, was launched on July 1.
"Mahindra Centuro has garnered over 10,000 bookings in such a short period of time. At the same time, we are very aware of the enhanced customer expectations and are striving to meet and exceed them," Mahindra Two Wheelers' Executive Vice President Viren Popli said.
While rolling out the bike, the company had said the first 10,000 customers will get the motorcycle for Rs 44,000 as against introductory price of Rs 45,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Designed entirely in-house, the Centuro is the second bike launched by the homegrown auto major after Pantero early this year following its reentry in the domestic motorcycle space.
