New Delhi:
The Budget Session of Parliament will start today with the address of President Ram Nath Kovind. Later, the government will the Economic Survey for 2019-20. The first phase of the session will conclude on February 11. After a break, it will again commence on March 2 and continue till April 3.
Modi Government, in its first term, decided to advance the date of the budget from the last working day to the first working day. Accordingly, the Union Budget for 2017-18 was presented on February 1, and since then, the tradition has continued.
