The last date of filing of GST Annual Return in Form GSTR-9/9A and Reconciliation Statement in Form GSTR-9C for the Financial Year 2017-18 has been extended from August 31 to November 30.

“Annual Return in the FORM GSTR-9 / FORM GSTR-9A and Reconciliation Statement in the FORM GSTR-9C for the Financial Year 2017-18 is extended from 31st August, 2019 to 30th November, 2019,” the Finance Ministry said in a statement.

Tax professionals across the country had been urging Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to extend the last date of filing of income tax return (ITR) and GST return.
