With increasing competition in the telecom sector during the festive season, the state-run BSNL has also begun to woo customers. BSNL has introduced a new recharge plan under which customers will be able to make unlimited calls for not just a month or two, but the whole year for free.
What is BSNL offering?
BSNL has launched a new recharge package of Rs 1,097, under which consumers will get the free unlimited calling facility for 365 days. Not only that, 25 GB data will be provided to those who take this pack. However, this plan will be available only till January 6, 2019.
With this plan, BSNL has taken Reliance Jio’s Rs 1,699 plan head on.

Reliance Jio is offering free calling and unlimited data for a year. Along with these, the company is also giving a 100 per cent cashback to all its customers. The offers will be available till November 30.

It is pertinent to mention BSNL is still offering 3G services while Reliance Jio is offering 4G services. Earlier, BSNL had introduced a plan for Rs 1,999 and offered 2GB data for 365 days.
