Have you ever thought of a super thin display which can be rolled like a newspaper? The dream has come true as electronic giant LG has built an 18-inch display that can be turned like a newspaper.
The South Korean firm plans on showing off the new display at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas later this week. The screen shows LG’s forward thinking OLED, which is a type of LED display that is highly flexible.
The electronic major has surpassed everyone with this piece of technology. They will moved one step ahead to showcase a 25-inch screen that will be installed at the inside of a car without any hassle.
It is expected that more details about the flexible screen will be released in the next couple of days. The firm is even mulling to use the technology in smartphones and tablets in coming days.
The South Korean company also has an 8K TV model, the UH9800, along with a range of new 65-inch and 77-inch 4K TVs that will be on display at the event.
