LPG Prices: Non-subsidised LPG Cylinder has received a massive price cut. Notably, the price of a non-subsidised LPG Cylinder cooking gas (14.2 kilograms) has been lowered by Rs 52.50 across metro cities in the country. Also, the prices of 19-kilogram cylinders have received a price cut. It is worth mentioning here that this is the first price cut in the cooking gas rates after six increases since August last year.

LPG Cylinder Prices: Complete Details

According to the revised price, a 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder now costs Rs 805.50 per cylinder (14.2 kilograms) and Rs 776.50 (14.2 kilograms) per cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai, respectively. On the other hand, the 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder in Kolkata is now retailing at Rs 839.50. Whereas, the non-subsidised LPG cylinder in Chennai costs Rs 826.

According to data from Indian Oil, the prices of 19-kilogram cylinder has been revised to Rs 1,381.50 per unit in Delhi and Rs 1,331.00 in Mumbai, from Rs 1,466.00 and Rs 1,540.50 respectively.

Petrol And Diesel Prices Fall

Meanwhile, the prices of petrol and diesel witnessed a downward trend on Sunday (March 1). According to the Indian Oil website, the petrol rates were lowered by up to 17 Paise while diesel prices were slashed by up to 21 paise across major metro cities of the country. After today’s (Sunday) rate revision, petrol rates are Rs 71.71 per litre in Delhi, Rs 77.40 per litre in Mumbai, Rs 74.38 per litre in Kolkata, and Rs 74.51 per litre in Chennai, respectively. On the other hand, the diesel prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai remained at Rs 64.30, Rs 67.34, Rs 66.63, and Rs 67.86 per litre, respectively.

In Noida, petrol is retailing at Rs 73.60 a litre, while diesel price is Rs 64.59 a litre. The price of petrol in Gurugram is Rs 71.75 a litre while diesel was selling at Rs 63.67 a litre.
