Remember Abhinav Kumar? Well, you may remember him as the Trivago Guy who featured in the Trivago Ad Campaign. The man is once again in news as Paytm has roped him as Vice President, Product Marketing. Abhinav was earlier associated with the Trivago as the face of Trivago TVC.
A Paytm spokesperson said to the media: “We are excited to have Kumar on board, who is known for his expertise in product marketing. We are in the next phase of our growth, and his skills and expertise will be instrumental to our efforts of expanding digital payments in our country.”
Meanwhile, Abhinav has a Master’s in International Management degree from University of Trento, Italy and has rich experience in digital marketing as well. During his stint with Trivago, Kumar gained massive attention and appreciation due to his subtle portrayal in the Trivago Ad, which eventually helped the brand to gain recall value and explore new brand extension opportunities.
Paytm also recently announced that Vikas Garg, currently Sr. Vice President – Finance, has been promoted as Deputy CFO of the company. Garg has been associated with the company for over a decade and has led the financial operations.
Paytm is the hiring streak process where the e-Wallet brand has recently promoted Vikas Garg as Deputy CFO of the company. Earlier, he was the Sr. Vice President of the company. It is been over 10 years, Vikas Garg has been heading the finance operation department of Paytm.
