Washington:
Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company has sold 25 million TV units and 700 million iPhones till date including iPhone 6 that was released this year.
According to the Verge, Apple iPhones are currently selling over double the industry rate.
Apple’s iPhone business has grown by 49 percent year over year while the rest of the industry has grown only 25 percent.
Cook said that while the PC industry shrank 2 percent last year, Apple’s Mac business grew 21 percent.
Giving a quick update on the company’s retail business, Apple also announced its plans to have 40 stores in China by the end of the year.
