Silicon tech valley giant Apple is set to bring out its ambitious smartwatch on Monday in San Francisco.
Though, the tech giant is hoping to dominate the sector with its planned launch today but will it satisfy consumers demands? Is the device really necessary?
As claimed by Apple, the smartwatch will let consumers check their email, pay for goods at retail stores, will include fitness tracking features and monitor personal health information.
However, several consumers beleive that it is a luxury fashion piece, in fact many don't really understand the need to have a smartwatch. The watch which will be priced at $349.
Therefore, the test will be whether people will feel enthusiastic enough about smartwatches to add another device to their collection.
Apple will showcase the watch at a special event in San Francisco today while it will be officially launched in April.
