New Delhi:
With recent smartwatches put on display by LG and Samsung, many are looking forward to Apple’s watch.
The watch is touted to be a designer’s watch, envisioned and packaged with sensors that could measure heart rate, stress levels, blood pressure and more.
However, a report on Tuesday disappointed fans by claiming that Apple decided to drop several sensors from its planned watch for being unreliable or erratic.
The watch was even dubbed 'black hole' internally because it continued to suck in resources for four years.
The company even struggled to decide on the purpose of such a watch and debated why a consumer would need or want such a device.'
Notably, Apple is expected to launch the smartwatch in the first quarter of 2015 priced at $349, although a high-end 18-karat gold model could cost thousands of dollars.
