Samsung mobiles and Sony have emerged as the top two most attractive brands in the eastern region, according to the report prepared by Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a brand intelligence company.
The third most attractive brand in the region was Nokia, followed by LG, it said.
Consumer electronics brands have emerged as the most attractive in the country's eastern region, according to the report.
The same trend had been noticed for the metropolis, it said.
Other major brands which found place among the top 20 were Philips, Britannia, Tata, Lux, Vodafone, Airtel,Bata, Lakme, Bajaj and Honda among others.
ITC had emerged at the number 13 slot for Kolkata and 17 in the region.
Nationally, Samsung Mobiles, Sony, Nokia and LG had again appeared as the top four attractive brands, according to the TRA report.
Sony had emerged as the most attractive brand in western India, it added.
