Mobile devices maker Lava International on Sunday launched its premium smartphone at Rs 13,499 which will be available from the fourth week of this month across the country.
The Lava Iris 504q, which comes with a 5-inch screen, has 1.2 Ghz Quad Core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The phone, which comes with a gesture motion control, has 8-mega pixel rear camera and internal memory of 4 GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB.
"Lava believes in enhancing consumer experience while assisting efficiency and helping consumers to enjoy products that meet their needs ... Iris 504q is a technologically competitive product available at a smart price," Lava International co-founder and Director Hari Om Rai told reporters here.
The company, which clocked a turnover of Rs 965 in FY12,had handset sales of over 9 lakh units in May 2013. The firm has set a target of selling 15 lakh devices inOctober 2013. It has a distributor strength of over 700 andpresent in around 30,000 multi brand outlets.
