Washington:
LG has announced its latest addition, the all metal smartwatch ' LG Watch Urbane ', weeks before the Apple smartwatch is expected to roll out.
According to TechCrunch, LG believes its new timepiece will appeal to men as well as women rather than only the geeky male audience.
The LG smartwatch comes with a natural leather strap in silver or gold and the band is detachable and can be switched with any 22mm-wide band for regular watches.
The device runs Android Wear and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip.
LG said that it will launch the LG Watch Urbane at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month.
