New Delhi:
Indian smartphone maker Micromax on Wednesday announced that it will be updating its Canvas range of Android smartphones in India.
The new version will now be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the coming weeks.
In fact, the first phone in the series will be Canvas Xpress A99.
According to the company’s press release, “Micromax is committed to keep our customers delighted with best in class technologies and experience.”
Riding on the same thought, the company has decided to roll out the Android L update with Canvas Xpress.
The new upgrade is likely to give tough competition to Android One smartphones from Google and YU Yureka as they have not yet announced their upgrades.
