Washington:
Three years after it hit the shelves, Nintendo 3DS has finally been hacked, a report said.
A hacker called, Smealum, has released an exploit that allows 3DS owners to run an unauthorized code called, " homebrew," on their devices, reported Tech Crunch.
The report said that the exploit relies on a bug in a QR code reader built into a previously almost unheard of game called Cubic Ninja .
After the name of the game was disclosed by hackers, its price has skyrocketed to 40-70 dollars.
