New Delhi:

The World 'Human Rights Day' will be observed on December 10. This year, the growing menace of human trafficking has been of the major areas of concern.

The recent Rohingya violence in Myanmar turned the much needed attention of the world towards the severe violation of basic human rights.
In Myanmar, people were being killed, looted, raped by fellow countrymen who at one point in time used to live together in peace and harmony.

The United Nations (UN) has a big task in hand to ensure no such violence should take place and people's basic human rights remain intact for the sake of brotherhood and unity.

News Nation has joined hands with UC News India to create awareness against the growing violation of basic human rights. On this, we caught up with TV celebrity Varun Toorkey who appears as the lead actor in the popular TV soap 'Saam Dam Dand Bhed'.

Though, Toorkey is not directly associated with any organisation due to his busy schedule but he strongly feels, "every child is born with basic human rights irrespective of his religion, caste, gender and sex he/she belongs to. And those rights need to be preserved."
