JODHPUR:
The judicial custody of self-styled godman Asaram, who is arrested in connection with the sexual assault case of a minor, is ending on Saturday. Asaram will be produced before a Jodhpur court on Saturday, where the arguments on the chargesheet filed by the police against him will begin.
In another Asaram-related development, the Jammu Police has begun investigation against recently arrested Bholanand, the ex-follower of the godman.
According to police sources, the police is likely to take him to Asaram’s ashram in Bhagwatinagar, where according to Bholanand the godman had buried three children.
Bholanand was sent to three-day police remand after his arrest on Thursday.
