2008 BMW accident case: Saket court defers order to 19 April

New Delhi:

Saket court on Thursday deferred its order in 2008 BMW accident case to April 19. The case had been registered against Utsav Bhasin, accused of ramming BMW into the motorcycle.

The teenager has been booked under section 304 IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) on the charge that the vehicle dragged the victim for several yards after knocking him down.

Bhasin (19) was allegedly on the wheels when his BMW car hit two men—Anuj Singh and Mrigank Singh—on a motorcycle around 2.30 am on September 11, 2008, near Moolchand flyover in South Delhi.
