Three members of a family were found stabbed to death in Vasant Kunj's Kishangarh area on Wednesday morning, according to news agency ANI. One member was found in an injured state. Delhi Police personnel are present at the scene of the crime.
The attackers stabbed 40-year-old Mithilesh, his wife Siya and children (Neha and Suraj) in their three-bedroom apartment in Kishangarh. While Mithilesh, Siya and Neha succumbed to their injuries, Suraj is battling for his life in the hospital, the police said. The police were informed about the triple murder at 5 am on Wednesday morning by neighbours who went inside the house seeing the door ajar.
Mithilesh, Siya and Neha were found lying in a pool of blood in the living room of their house and Suraj was lying injured at the doorstep of a bedroom. The police are taking into account all possible angles, including personal enmity, to ascertain the motive behind the murders.
