New Delhi:
A 16-year-old girl committed suicide on Friday at Alipur, New Delhi after being allegedly harassed by a batch of boys.
In a shocking incident, the girl was found hanging in her room at her house on Friday. The girl left a suicide note in Hindi, citing her reason behind the ultimate step.
The note states that some boys in her neighbourhood were stalking her and how the following harassment damaged her emotionally. ''She did it because a neighbour used to stalk her and also threatened to kill her parents," her parents told ANI.
Police have now registered an FIR, but the accused reportedly fled.
The shocker comes just days after a class 9 student committed suicide in Noida. The school teachers allegedly harassed her sexually which led her to take the extreme decision, according to girl’s family.
