New Delhi:

 A 17-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide on Sunday by jumping off from the eighth floor of a building in West Delhi’s Janakpuri area.

Pulkit, a class 10th student, jumped to death from the Vishwa Sadan building in the Janakpuri District Centre at about 5.20 PM, said a senior police officer.

The security guards rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

No suicide note has been recovered and police is speaking to his family to ascertain the reason why he took the extreme step, said the officer.

The boy lived with his family in Sagarpur area nearby.
