New Delhi:

Delhi on Sunday woke up to a bright and sunny morning. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The minimum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity will oscillate between 41 per cent to 87 per cent.

Dry winds from North-west direction have reduced the humidity and the sky condition is also clear. Therefore, we expect further rise in day temperatures by a couple of degrees in the next few days. However, mornings and nights are expected to remain comfortable. These warm days are likely to stay for the next 10 to 15 days, following which, the day temperatures will start to decline, according to weatherman at the Skymet weather.

Delhi, has received the highest rainfall this month in seven years, that is, since 2011. The city recorded rainfall to the tune of 224.5 mm till now in September, when in the entire month in 2017 it was just 158.5 mm, according to officials.

On Saturday, the minimum temperature settled at 23.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity oscillated between 38 per cent to 91 per cent.
