New Delhi:
National Capital of India faced a hot day on Thursday with maximum temperature settling at 37.6 degree Celsius, three degrees above the average temperature.
The minimum temperature was 23.2 degree Celsius, five degrees above the usual temperature, said an official from Meteorological Department.
The humidity moved to and fro between 78 and 27 per cent.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast overcast skies with light rain and drizzle expected in some areas on Friday.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 38 and 23 degrees respectively," the weatherman said.
The maximum temperature on Wednesday was 39 degree Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature was 23 degree Celsius.
