Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will on Saturday file his nomination from New Delhi constituency for the Delhi Assembly Election. Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has already filed her nomination papers.
Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) chief ministerial nominee, Harsh Vardhan, has filed his nomination for Krishna Nagar constituency.
In a time period of one year, the AAP has around 12,000 registered supporters.
Apart from Dikshit and Harsh Vardhan, 266 other candidates including around 20 sitting MLAs and senior leaders of major parties on Friday filed their nominations for the December 4 Delhi assembly polls.
