New Delhi:

Delhi on Saturday woke up to a bright and sunny morning. The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The minimum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius and humidity will be about 85 per cent.

Dry winds from North-west direction have reduced the humidity and the sky condition is also clear. Therefore, we expect further rise in day temperatures by a couple of degrees in the next few days. However, mornings and nights are expected to remain comfortable, according to weatherman at the Skymet weather.

These warm days are likely to stay for the next 10 to 15 days, following which, the day temperatures will start to decline.

Delhi, has received the highest rainfall this month in seven years, that is, since 2011. The city recorded rainfall to the tune of 224.5 mm till now in September, when in the entire month in 2017 it was just 158.5 mm.

On Friday, minimum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 32 degrees Celsius.
