New Delhi:

The great real estate fraud in Noida turned murkier with the rise in grievances of thousands of home buyers for whom the dream of a home has turned into a nightmare. Real estate majors are facing the heat of home buyers for non-completion of civic amenities and electrical work. Other major concerns also include the difference in the promised quality, actual delivery status of the apartments, project deviation, structural deficiencies and inadequate civic amenities.

Real estate sector is facing a huge slowdown for the last 3-4 years, leading to huge delays of up to 7-8 years in delivery of the projects. The delay in handover of the flats has forced home buyers to launch protest against builders on streets as well as social media.

Now the customers are forced to take legal route. Amid all this, the question is where are the concerned authorities? Are they totally oblivious of all this? What are they upto? When News Nation raised this issue on our show Question Hour, K C Pandey of Uttar Pradesh government said that Noida authority has constituted a committee to look into the matter. He also added that the UP government will certainly take action against the wrong doers.

Now only time will tell if the UP government will take necessary action against the wrongdoers in time or not?
