Delhi Police’s Special Cell conducted raids at several locations in the city on late Wednesday night after receiving inputs on possible terror attacks. Delhi Police had sounded an alert after central intelligence agencies sent information that some terrorists had reached the city to carry out terror strikes during the festival season. The alert was sounded late on Wednesday following a category-A intelligence input about the presence of 3-4 hardcore and “highly-motivated” terrorists in the capital, according to a Times of India report. The inputs received under Category A is treated as extremely credible and requires all anti-terror measures.

According to the TOI report, the raids were carried out at nine locations in the city and at least two suspects were detained for questioning. Raids were conducted in Seelampur, Jamia Nagar and Paharganj areas.

According to the inputs, there are 3-4 terrorists hidden in the national capital. These Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists are waiting to carry out a big attack in Delhi. The reports also suggest these terrorists may carry out suicide attacks or using IED laden vans to targets sensitive and important areas. They may also use grenades or open firing in populated areas to create panic and cause maximum danage. Delhi Police is working hard to track these terrorists and co-ordinating with police in other NCR areas. According to reports, they are keeping an eye on cyber cafes, old car dealers, sim card sellers and chemical shpos.
