New Delhi:
A young woman and her male friend were on Friday held at a Delhi Metro station for allegedly carrying two live bullets, according to officials.
Nineteen-year-old Simran was found carrying the rounds in her bag by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at the Kohat Enclave station at around 4 pm, the officials said.Â
The woman, hailing from a locality in northeast Delhi, failed to furnish any license or document for carrying the bullet rounds.
She told the security personnel that the bullets belonged to a male friend, but he too could not provide a valid reason for keeping the ammunition in her bag.
Both have been handed over to the Delhi Police by the CISF team for further investigation, the officials added.
