Aspiring Telugu actress Sri Reddy alias Srilekha Mallidi on Saturday stripped in public to protest against the alleged casting couch in Tollywood and for not getting membership in Movie Artists Association (MAA).
Reddy came to MAA office in churidar and stripped herself in front of TV channels to mark her protest. While stripping in front of the office, she accused both Movie Artists Association and Producers Association for not giving her membership despite acting in a few movies and producing several.Â
While marking her protest Reddy also claimed that she was sexually assaulted by many producers and directors of the industry.Â
“They have asked for live nude videos of mine,†Reddy added.
The Telugu actress was detained by the police after she held a semi-nude protest outside the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce in Jubilee Hills.
