The family of Hyderabad veterinarian, who was gang-raped and killed by four persons, is happy that all of them were killed in an encounter and thanked the police and Telangana government for it. However, some families are not being able to come to the terms with the development and said this is wrong. Mother of Areef, prime accused in the case, is unspeakable, reported The News Minute.
"I don't know what they've done. My son is gone! Of course, this is wrong. My son is gone. I am not able to speak," Areef’s mother was quoted as saying by The News Minute reported.
The parents of Areef said their son had come home on the night (November 28) and told them that an accident had happened.

Mother of Shiva, another accused in the gruesome murder of the 27-year-old veterinarian, said, “Sir, if my son was found to be guilty, then please shoot him.” Shiva's father raised questions on why only the accused in this case were given punishment and others involved in such crimes are being treated differently. "Others should also be punished in this manner, why haven’t they been?" he said.
According to the report, the father of another accused, Naveen, said that they should have been at least allowed to meet their sons before the encounter. “We told earlier itself to kill them instead of putting them in jail, but they should’ve at least given us a chance to see them before killing them,” he said.
Earlier, mother of Chennakeshavulu - the fourth accused in the case - had said that her son should be burnt too if found guilty. “If my son committed the crime, burn him too. My son is nothing to me. Wrong is wrong,” she had told media persons. You hang him, kill him or shoot him dead will you listen if I say I want my son back. Won't the others say that if you (mother) have so much pain, would not the burnt woman have the same pain, she said.
The four accused, all lorry workers, aged between 20 and 24, were arrested on November 29 for their alleged involvement in the gruesome incident and remanded in judicial custody on Saturday.
Protests were held here and at various other places in Telangana against the incident on Saturday with the enraged public demanding that the accused be handed out stringent punishment of the death penalty.
