Hyderabad:
A Telugu TV serial producer was today arrested here for alleged sexual harassment of a woman television artist, police said.
The 32-year-old victim lodged a complaint with S R Nagar Police Station alleging the producer, Venkat Chalapathy, had been forcing her to have sexual relationship with him.
Based on the complaint, police booked Chalapathy under IPC Section 354 (assaulting a woman to outrage her modesty) and apprehended him, Inspector G V Ramana Goud said.
A probe was on in the matter, he added.
