Self-styled godman Asaram might not be getting relief from the side of police but Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), party which was founded on 29th August 1964, has stood for the controversial man.
VHP has alleged that Asaram is innocent and a victim of Congress’ conspiracy. He also alleged that Congress is currently behind all saints and sending them behind the bars.
When asked about rape charges against Asaram, the party said that all conspiracy has been created and executed by Congress and the coming future will reveal it all. The party also demanded that media trial against Asaram should be stopped as he is innocent and cant’t do heinous crime like rape.
Asaram is currently lodged in Jodhpur jail in charges of rape with many girls in his ashram. His son Narayan Sai has also been declared absconder after he did not turn up in front of police for almost 1 month in the rape case alleged by two Surat girls.
