Three female foetuses found in bathroom, dustbin at Kishtwar hospital: Reports

Three female foetuses were reportedly found at Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district hospital on Tuesday. One of the foetuses was found inside the washroom of the hospital, while the other was discovered inside a dustbin on the premises and the third one was found on the rear side of the hospital, reported MirrorNow.  

Officials told the news channel that all three of the foetuses were female indicating that this could be a case of female foeticide while adding that an investigation into the matter is underway. After getting information about the foetuses, the police reached the spot and are trying to ascertain the reasons behind abortions.

According to reports in the local media, the abortions were done in the district hospital of Kishtwar. Two suspects have been arrested by the police till now.
