Kolkata:
Three persons have been arrested in the city for allegedly molesting a French woman and assaulting her male companion, police said on Monday.
According to police, the French couple, residing in Jodhpur Park area, were confronted with few youths who allegedly passed lewd comments on Saturday at around 3 am when they were returning home.
The male companion of the French woman protested, following which he was assaulted and the youths allegedly molested the lady.
The couple filed a police report. One person was arrested on Sunday, while two others were held on Monday.
Investigations are on, police said.
