New Delhi:
A police man was killed and another seriously injured in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh, a police official said on Friday.
The two policemen were hit by a car near Lachanpur village in UP on Thursday night, the official said, adding, they were getting a tree removed which had fallen on the road when a speeding DCM Matador hit them.

The two policemen were posted at Uska Police Station in UP. One, Constable Nagendra Yadav was killed on the spot.
Sub Inspector Shiv Mangal Yadav, who suffered injuries, was rushed to a hospital and is under treatment, the police said.
