New Delhi:
A Fire broke out at an Army building in south Mumbai’s Colaba area on Saturday, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said.
The fire started at around 7 pm in the evening and four vehicles of fire tenders were rushed to the spot, according to an official from BMC’s Disaster Management Cell.
The fire broke out at one of the Army buildings near Afghan Church in the defence area of Colaba, said an Army spokesperson.
“Fire-fighting operations are on,” the spokesperson said, without giving more details.
“No injuries have been reported. The damage due to the fire is being assessed in the two office rooms,” ANI quoted Defence PRO as saying.Live
