Mumbai:
Mumbai’s traffic geared to a snail’s pace as the city witnessed heavy rains at the Pune-Mumbai expressway, Lonavla and Khandala areas.
With massive jams at various points in the city the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses were also running couple of hours behind the schedule.
Once it started raining heavily, people tried to avoid stepping out and those who dared were either late or unable to reach their destination.
Massive rains have been predicted for the next 48 hours in the city.
