Nashik:

A seven-year-old girl has died of dengue taking the death toll in the mosquito-borne disease in the district to three in a week, a health official said today.

Nilakshi Saroj, a resident of Anandvalli in the city, died at a civil hospital here yesterday, he said.

She was earlier being treated at a private hospital, but on Thursday shifted to the civil hospital with symptoms of dengue, Nashik civil hospital’s medical officer Dr J M Hole said.

Earlier, two persons, one from Chetana Nagar and another from Chunchale in Nashik, had died of dengue on Wednesday last week, he said.Various precautions are being taken to prevent the dengue fever, he added.
