Mumbai:
Union agriculture minister and NCP President Sharad Pawar, who was on Thursday admitted to a hospital after he fell ill during a party event in Mumbai, has been discharged.
Pawar was discharged after routine checkup in the hospital.
The 72-year-old NCP leader was taken to hospital following high blood pressure, party spokesperson Nawab Malik said.
Pawar was on his way to attend Rashtrawadi Yuvati Congress programme at YB Chavan Centre, he added.
Party sources said there was "nothing to worry and he is absolutely fine."
