Dimapur:

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton on Thursday inaugurated the upgraded forensic laboratory of the state here.

The laboratory, the sole such facility in the state, was set up in 1982 with only fingerprinting and photography division at Razaphe village and it has now been shifted to a three-storey building here.

Divisions such as narcotic, biology & serology, chemistry, computer forensic and polygraph have been added in the upgraded laboratory, officials said.
