Apart from Deb and Chakma, several BJP CMs from the northeastern states will join the campaign for the Mizoram Assembly elections, Chakraborty said.

On October 17, BJP president Amit Shah visited Aizawl to kick off the party’s election campaign and he had said the BJP would contest all the 40 Assembly seats in Mizoram.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will also be heading for Mizoram soon, the spokesperson said.
