New Delhi:

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Jagdish Sharma and RK Rana have filed a plea in High Court in the fodder scam also popularly known as the ‘chara ghotala’.

Lalu has been sentenced to five-year jail term in the fodder scam.

Earlier on October 3, the special CBI court of Judge Pravas Kumar Singh sentenced five years in prison and a fine of Rs 25 lakh to Lalu.

The sentencing took away Lalu Prasad's membership of the Lok Sabha, putting a question mark on the future of one of the country's best known politicians.
