A 23-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped and raped by four men, police said on Sunday. The victim was kidnapped by four men in a car who took her to a nearby sugarcane field and raped her, said SSP Virender Singh.
The accused had also recorded the act, he said, adding that a probe into the matter was underway.
Earlier, a 30-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping and brutally killing a seven-year-old girl when she was her way to a temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Kannauj on April 8. The police said the man first raped the girl and then brutally killed her, with the postmortem report confirming that 12 of her bones were found broken.
