The Jharkhand Board Class 10th and 12th exam will end on March 9, 2019. The examination started on February 20. The 10th board exams are conducted in the morning between 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the 12th board exam is conducted in the afternoon session between 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
Mathematics will be the last paper for both the standards.
This year more than 7 lakh students appeared for board examinations in Jharkhand. JAC has set up 1,137 exam centres across the state to conduct the Jharkhand Board exams.
Students will be given an extra 15 minutes time before the examination to read the question paper. Students will not be allowed to write answers during this time.
The practical examination for both Jharkhand 10th and 12th class has been completed successfully.
The results are expected in or around the second week of June. Last year the results were declared on the second week of June. Around 60% of students cleared the Class 10 exams. The pass percentage last year was 48.34 in the science stream and 67.49 in commerce stream.
Jharkhand Academic Council is responsible to conduct the Jharkhand Intermediate Exams in the state. For the academic year 2017-18, the board conducted the Class 12 examination from March 8 to April 3.
