PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular games in India right now. However, the popularity of the game has landed it in getting banned, this time in Jammu and Kashmir. As per a report published by news website pristinekashmir, the Jammu and and Kashmir Students Association has requested the government to ban the PUBG game immediately owing to poor 10th and 12th class results.

The website has also reported that the chairman of the student body has termed the online multiplayer game as “future spoiler” and has appealed to the Governor for a PUBG ban as soon as possible, thus addressing the concerns of the parents as soon as possible.

According to the news website, deputy chairman Raqif Makhdoomi said, ''the game should have been banned immediately after the poor performance of 12th and 10th class results but still we haven’t seen any action".

This is not the first time incident related to PUBG ban in Jammu and Kashmir. A few weeks back, a fitness trainer from Jammu had been hospitalised after injuring himself while playing PUBG Mobile for 10 days. The PUBG player was reportedly injured after he started hitting himself with blows and eventually ended up in the hospital. Doctors had reportedly termed his condition as 'losing his mental balance'.

The doctor had said, ''The patient is unstable at the moment and has partially lost his mental balance.’’ Last year, a post went viral which had stated that PUBG is going to be banned in Maharashtra. The post was quickly debunked as a fake post. All-in-all, the calls PUBG ban seems rather problematic in itself considering the first and foremost problem is students having unlimited data and smartphone time to spend to start with.
