The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has revised the date sheet of Class 12 vocational and commerce group exams. Candidates who appear for the examination of the above-mentioned subjects can check the revised exam schedule on the official website of PSEB, the link for which is pseb.ac.in
Punjab PSEB Class 12 Board Exam 2019: New dates
As per the official notice released by PSEB, the Class 12 vocational and commerce group exams will now be held on March 23 and March 26. The practical exams for Class 12 will begin on April 5 and will continue till April 10.
For theoretical exams, all the board students will get an extra 25 minutes to read the question paper in addition to the three hours.
Further, the candidates from the PwD category will get the facility of a scribe and an additional 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, PSEB Class 10 board examination 2019 begins today, March 16. According to the schedule, the first exam is of Punjabi and the last exam will be of Health and Physical Education. This year, over 3.5 lakh students are expected to appear for the exams.
The board will conduct the class 10 practical exams from April 5 to April 13.
Punjab Board Exam 2018: DetailsIn 2018, the Punjab board class 12 exams began on February 28 and continued till March 24 while the class 10 board exams were held from March 12 and concluded on March 31.
Earlier, Punjab Government released a circular wherein it clearly stated to add Punjabi as a mandatory subject in all schools of Punjab. It was made mandatory for Punjab Board students to appear for the Punjabi Exam to be promoted to the next class.

The Punjab School Education Board came into existence through a legislative enactment in November 1969 for the development and promotion of school education in the state of Punjab. In 1987, the Vidhan Sabha amended the Board's Act to grant it autonomy.
