Manipur Board Result 2020: The Manipur Board students who are preparing for Class 12 and Class 10 examinations can brace themselves as the board officials has released the timetable of the examinations. The candidates can check the timetable in the table given below. Earlier sources had said, the Manipur board officials will conduct the examination in the month of February/March. Last year, the BSEM and COSHEM conducted the Class 10 examination from 20th February – 15th March while the class 12 examination was held from 18th February to 20th March.
As far as the declaration of the results, the BSEM and COSHEM announced the class 10 results on 18th May and class 12 result was released on 8th May. This year also the candidates can expect the results to be announced around the same time. Soon after the formal declaration of the results, the scorecards will be available on the official website of the board i.e. manresults.nic.in. In case students are not happy with their Manipur Board result 2020, they are allowed to get their answer sheets re-evaluated and/or re-checked. In order to apply for the Rechecking/Re-evaluation process, students will have to pay a nominal fee as directed by the board and submit an application through their respective schools/institutions.
In case, Manipur Board Result 2019 bring bad results for some of the students, they will be given a second chance to improve their scores in single or multiple subjects. Students are advised to apply for the supplementary/improvement exam of Manipur board 2019 by filling in the application form that will be made available on its official website.
The BSEM was established with the passing of an Act in 1972 by Manipur Legislative Assembly. Ever since the board came into existence, is has been fulfilling such responsibilities as curriculum or syllabus designing, hosting school examinations and making textbooks available for all standards between Classes I to Class X. In 2009, the BSEM has revised it’s syllabus for the Class 10 or HSLC programmes. Since then, it has been assigning 20% of the total marks for each subject to internal assessment and adding these internal scores to the total marks is followed by BSEM since 2011. In order to help students, showcase better performance in their Class 10 exams, the board has also introduced a special 4-day orientation programme on the evaluation technique and teaching methodology for their existing faculties.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur was established in the year 1992 under the provisions of the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992. Prior to the establishment of the Council, the 10+2 courses in the state were conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur as Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate course in the Higher Secondary Schools and Pre-University course by the Manipur University in the College. The COSHEM conducted the Higher Secondary Examination, 1993 as it’s first public examination in the state.
