The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research has extended the last date to apply for CSIR UGC NET 2019. The CSIR UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) 2019 will be conducted on June 16, 2019. Candidates who wish to apply for the exam can visit the official site of CSIR i.e. csirhrdg.res.in. Earlier, the last date to apply for the exam was 18 March, 2019. The examination will be of 200 marks and will be held in two sessions – morning and afternoon sessions.
While the morning session will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm.In order to be eligible to apply for CSIR UGC NET, the candidate must have M.Sc degree or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS or should have B.Sc (Hons) or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program.
The age limit to apply is till 28 years.The examination fees for the exam are Rs 1000/- for general category, Rs 500/- for OBC category and Rs 250/- for SC/ST/PWD category. Candidates will have to upload their scanned recent passport size photographs, scanned signature, category certificate and PwD certificate.
