IIM CAT 2019: In case you are preparing for the coveted IIM entrance exams, this is what you must know. On Sunday, July 24, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM Kozhikode) will release the notification. The IIMC CAT 2019 entrance exams will be conducted on November 24, 2019. The CAT 2019 exams will be conducted in two phases. Students across India will sit for the exams in 156 cities. According to an Indian Express report, the application can be done online, which will be held from August 7 to September 18, 2019.

The CAT entrance exams consist of three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. A tutorial to clear important queries regarding the test is also available online for the students.

Last year, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta had conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Nearly 2.41 lakh candidates had registered for the examination, that took place at 374 centres across 147 cities. CAT 2018 was also conducted in two different shifts. While the first shift took place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the second round of CAT 2018 examination was scheduled to be held between 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. In CAT 2016 all the top 20 candidates were male and engineers, however, in CAT 2017, the top 20 list contains two female candidates and three non-engineers, the Indian Express report said.
