After the announcement of results, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) today. Candidates can check the answer key by logging onto the official website jeemain.nic.in. This is the first time that JEE Main, the national level online competitive examination has been conducted entirely in the computer-based (online) mode.

This year, 15 students have scored 100 percentile. Over 9 lakh candidates had registered for the same. JEE Main 2019 examination carried 360 marks and was held for a duration of 3 hours between January 8 and January 12. While the results of Paper I was declared on 19 January, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main Paper II examination in April 2019.

''After the JEE Main April 2019 Exam, the Ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration better of the two NTA Scores of all candidates appeared in January 2019 and April 2019 examinations," the agency had said in a release.

Here’s how to check the answer key:

Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link to view answer key’ and question paper on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter application number and password or application number and date of birth by picking the appropriate link. 

Step 4: Click on login.

Step 5: Check the answer key and question paper.

Step 6: Download and take a print out for future reference.

It is a gateway to various undergraduate engineering and architecture institutions which accept the AIEEE score.
